Steve Loveless

Steve Loveless is an accomplished and proven leader having served in healthcare executive roles for roughly 20 years. Steve understands the economic and political pressure of the “C” suite, having served 7 years as a Regional President overseeing the strategy, operations, and all assets of SCL Health in the Montana Region. Steve has also served as hospital President and CEO, COO and VP of Ancillary Services with Mercy Health and Catholic Health Initiatives.

Steve’s leadership philosophies have formed over years of practical application, study and experience including what has and has not been effective. Undergirding his coaching is a strong belief that the “inner game” drives the outer game and leadership is the great differentiator. He supports those he coaches in coming to better know themselves and make personal change to achieve the change, results or outcomes they seek in others.

A certified coach by the Hudson Institute for Coaching and the International Coaching Federation, Steve is also a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is certified in Hogan Assessments and The Leadership Circle Profile. Steve holds a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor Degree from Brigham Young University.

Steve and his wife Susie have four daughters and a son. They enjoy time with the family playing pickleball and being in the outdoors. Steve also enjoys tempting trout with artificial flies and tennis. He continues to be grounded in the mission of healthcare for the poor and vulnerable and serves on the Global Health Committee of the Catholic Health Association.
